Regular parking rates apply. Vehicles that park in designated spaces without proper handicapped identification are ticketed and removed from the parking facility.

Special elevators to get from the waiting hall up to the terminals are available for the handicapped. The Guangzhou Airport also has wheelchair-friendly lavatories and makes available receptionists who assist sick travellers and help locate luggage. The lost and found booth and the first aid centre are on the first floor of the Domestic Departure hall.

Remember to inform your airline of your requirements well in advance of your scheduled departure (most airlines suggest 48 hours). It is always advisable for disabled travellers to inquire about any special requirements prior to arriving at  the Guangzhou Airport.
