Port of Malaga Terminal by Foot
If you are in Malaga for a day on a port-of-call, you will find it's a pleasant 2 kilometre walk into the city from the pier (it takes about 15 minutes). Walk from the pier towards the lighthouse. When you reach the lighthouse:
- Turn left if you want to go into town - the nearby Muella has shops and bars overlooking the harbour, or it's just a short walk to Plaza de la Marina at the city centre
- Turn right if you just want to go to the beach - Playa Malagueta is nice and sandy, and just 200 metres from the pier
If you are embarking or disembarking in Malaga, you probably won't want to take walk with your cruise luggage (unless you travel very light!).
