Where is Huatulco Airport?  


Huatulco is a Mexican tourist development centred on nine bays - thus the official name, Bahias de Huatulco.


The development is centred on the town of La Crucecita. Situated where the Sierra Madre del Sur Mountains foothills meet the Pacific Ocean, Huatulvo is about 500 kilometres (300 miles) south of Acapulco.


Huatulco International Airport (IATA: HUX, ICAO: MMBT), officially Bahías de Huatulco International Airport, also referred to as Bahías de Huatulco Airport, La Crucecita Airport, Oaxaca Airport, or simply Huatulco Airport, is located at Huatulco, in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. HUX airport handles air traffic for the Pacific coast south of the city of Oaxaca.
