Next trip to Cancun, Mexico, Riviera maya?

This tips upon your arrival will help you to be safe, also save your time and money.

Outside the airport there are a lot of nonauthorized Cancun airport transportation companies ( They are called ¨PIRATAS¨), who maybe will try to contact you, they want to offer you this service with higher prices, but do not worry just go away from them and let you find your transportation company they are after you cross the last glass door, nearby to the taxi ticket place , please do not move from this area. If you have some inconveniences or doubts about it, do not hesitate to contact them by phone or email.

If somebody helps you dialing just BE CAREFULL, make sure they dial the correct number, maybe they would try to
cheat or trick on you, in order to offer you their service.

For your own safety do not take any transportation if the people who attend you are not identified as your transportation company staff,


TIPS YOU NEED TO KNOW WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO THE CANCUN INT. AIRPORT :

-Be carefully, close to the arriving area into the airport after you pass immigration point, customs and luggage area, you will see some people on the desks ,they look like official and they will ask for your documents also they will ask you some question...where are you going, your name etc..
but they only want to sell you "time share" they will offer free Tours, breakfast, dinner or maybe transportation, all this is true but you have to
give them your credit card number and spend about one hour in the airport, also one day briefing in the hotel they offer, so avoid them...!

-Never accept any "free" ride to your hotel. Instead, they will take you to a three-hour timeshare presentation where they will corner you and pressure you to sign up, and you will have a hard time getting them to take you to your actual hotel before the end of the presentation.If you dont have in mind to buy time share dont waste your value vacation time, avoid them ..!
-Never accept any "assistance" from anyone who volunteers to carry your baggage in terminal 02. They will demand a tip even for carrying a suitcase for five feet.
-Never accept to follow a "representative" of the company you have hired for transportation to your hotel to the car or van unless they can show your the official list that includes your name.
-Never accept to follow or get a ride with anyone who claims to work for the company you have hired to take you to your hotel unless they are wearing a uniform with that company's logo on.
-Never answer the question "Which hotel are you going to?" (¿Para qué hotel va?) with the actual name of your hotel. They will all claim that is where they are going.
-Never answer the question "What company are you looking for?" (¿Qué compañía está buscando?) with the actual name of your ride company. They will claim that they work for them and have been expecting you.
- If others will try to offer you maps/directions when their real interest is getting in you to commit to seeing a timeshare place, transportation or some other venture tours. Just keep your things together, smile and tell them firmly "No, gracias" and get out the airport door and look for transportation company directly
-Do your homework before you get on the plane and print the vouchers and a picture from the web of the typical logo, uniforms, and van designs of the company that will take you to your hotel. That way you can spot them after you've made it through the throng of sharks without having to tell anyone information they will use to contact you.

*TIPS
Tips for your driver are not included in your payment and you are not force to give it, anyway you will receive the best of the best from your driver/s.
Here is a tips list you can use for each service :

- Is very important print the transporation vouchers, information etc... and carry with you, in order to contact them in case.


- If you have any last minute flight change, contact them by e-mail or phone to have your transportation ready for you.
