As you exit the terminal from the main entrance, turn left towards the taxi rank. A taxi marshall will be available to assist you. Be aware that there can be long taxi queues at ABZ if the airport is particularly busy.

 

If you pre-booked a Aberdeen airport taxi, turn right instead, and walk towards the Comcab booking office.

 

In light traffic a journey to the city centre takes about 25 minutes.

 

All taxi fares are metered, so make sure your driver turns the meter on. As fares are metered, fares will be higher when traffic is heavy. There is a board outlining approximate charges in the taxi shelter.

 

Tip: Returning to the airport, if your flight departs early in the morning, do not count on finding a taxi in the street; book your taxi the night before.
