Dunedin is the second-largest city on New Zealand's South Island, situated on the central-eastern coast. Otago Harbour and the hills around Dunedin city are the remnants of an extinct volcano.

Dunedin International Airport (IATA: DUD, ICAO: NZDN), or simply Dunedin Airport, is located near the village of Momona, 22 kilometres southwest of Dunedin, in the Otago Region, on South Island, New Zealand. DUD airport serves both the Otago and Southland regions.


In 2012, Dunedin Airport served 853,650 passengers.


Dunedin Airport is one of two international airports in the Otago Region, the other being Queenstown International Airport (ZQN).
