Lisbon Airport (LIS) Public & Private Bus Transfers

Lisbon Airport bus service is provided by Carris and falls into 2 categories:

• Direct "shuttle" bus service (AeroBus, AeroShuttle) - faster and a bit more expensive
• Local bus service - cheaper but slower

Where to get the bus: Lisbon Airport bus services depart from the single bus shelter across the road from the terminal, rather than from the 2 stops right outside the Arrivals Hall. Exit the building, turn right and cross the road. Follow signs for the Lisbon Airport bus which is only 100 metres away. 

AEROBUS

Aerobus (Bus No. 91)

• Airport – City Centre 
• Service operates 07:45 and 20:15, daily
• Runs every 20 minutes
• Tickets can be purchased on board, or from the Tourism Office, in the Arrivals Hall
• Take this bus if you are going to the Cais do Sodre Railway Station

AEROSHUTTLE

Aeroshuttle (Bus No. 96)

• Gare Oriente – Airport – Entrecampos – Sete Rios – Praça de Espanha
• Service operates 07:00 and 23:00, daily
• Runs every 30 minutes
• Tickets can be purchased on board, or from the Tourism Office at the Arrivals Hall

LOCAL BUS SERVICE

Several local buses make a stop at the LIS airport along their routes. These buses are slower, making many stops, but if you are staying away from tourist areas, it is worth checking to see if one of these buses will get you close.
