<p>After an early pickup at your hotel this tour involves a 1 hour drive up Rouna Gorge to Sogeri township, a 30 minute motor boat ride across Lake Sirinumu and a 1&nbsp;hour rough road transfer in the back of an old truck (what an adventure!) to a jungle&nbsp;village of the Koiari bush people. This is a genuine local village not a tourist&nbsp;center. At the village enjoy a traditional welcome dance by the local children, a guided walk around the village (school, church, private homes), a forest walk, a visit to the banana and pineapple gardens&nbsp;and an optional swim in the cool freshwater creek.&nbsp;Sleep overnight in a traditional style village hut and spend the next day enjoying a candid village immersion experience or taking an extended jungle hike before returning to Port Moresby in the afternoon.</p>
