New travel Web sites on hotels with views, public transit, selling travel books

I Hate Taxis (http://www.ihatetaxis.com): Okay, we don't hate all cabs, just the ones that overcharge us or scare us so much that we consider jumping out mid-ride. The site gives travelers the tools to smartly navigate various modes of transportation from major tourist points, such as airports. For example, from Mexico City International Airport, we learn about train service, private bus companies and, yes, cabs. There is helpful travel info as well, such as currency rates and humidity levels (83 percent in Bangkok).
