Kalamazoo Driving Stress Level: 3/10
Driving in and around the Kalamazoo area is relatively easy though expect aggressive drivers along the highways and frequent wildlife at night. For some odd reason there is an abundance of road kill between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, primarily deer and raccoon, which remains in a decomposing state for several weeks to a month. Some of the large deer bodies are still intact and are just a few feet from the road lane so try to remember where they are located if you are driving this strip of highway on a frequent basis.
