Taxi prices are fixed from the BGI Bridgetown International Airport and there is a taxi price board outside the customs area for study (where you will likely be approached by touts).

Dollar Debate: Make sure that you agree to the currency for the trip. Many people have had a surprise at the end of the taxi ride to hear "no, US dollars, not Barbados dollars", essentially doubling the price.
Luggage Helpers: Beware of 'luggage helpers'. They are not there on behalf of the Bridgetown Airport, but rather to earn a tip off you for their services. Place your own bags in the back of the taxi and do not hand them to someone that wishes to assist you.
