Belize City Airport taxi service is available outside the terminal.

 

There are no metered taxis in Belize but the taxi fare from the Belize City Airport to the Belize City centre is fixed at BZD 50, for up to four persons. Taxis are easily identified by their green license plates. If paying with USD in the city, most taxis charge a minimum of USD 3 but some as much as USD 4 to USD 5 for a stop. It is a good idea to ask the price before getting into the vehicle and if you are not satisfied with the price, try another taxi.
