Where is Hechi Airport?  

Hechi is situated in the northwest of China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, bordering Guizhou to the north. With а monsoon-influenced humid subtropical climate, Hechi іs generally overcast.

Hechi Airport (IATA: HCJ, ICAO: ZGHC), officially Hechi Jinchengjiang Airport, also referred to as Hechi Jiantang Airport, is situated on Jiantang Mountain, 40 kilometres (25 miles) from Hechi city centre, in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, People's Republic of China.

Hechi Airport opened in August 2014. The airport's construction was controversial: more than 60 hilltops were leveled to create the runway, owing to the lack of flat land in this mountainous region.

The only airline currently flying to Hechi Airport is China Express Airlines.
