Things to do in Nice if you have a Nice Airport Layover or Extended Nice Airport Stopover

Sentier Littoral Cliff Walk

If you go past the old port (about a 15 minute walk) heading east toward Monaco, you will find there is a little pathway that leads from Coco Beach along the side of the cliff. You can follow the "Sentier Littoral" around Cap de Nice half way to Villefranche, but be aware that you will be faced several hundred steps up to rejoin the road. Regardless, it's a lovely, beautiful walk. You will find mostly locals along the way.

As always, make sure you leave plenty of time to get back to the Nice Airport in time for your connection and enjoy your layover city rather than whiling away the time leaning up against your luggage in the departures lounge.
