Port of Puerto Vallarta Cruise Terminal Public & Private Bus Transfers

Puerto Vallarta bus service operates along Av. Francisco Medina Ascencio (the main drag). The southbound from the marina area bus makes stops all along the "hotel zone" on the way to downtown Puerto Vallarta.

Check the sign on the bus before boarding:

• If you are going downtown, be sure to take a Centro bus (and not a Tunel bus)
• The Centro bus makes stops as it goes through on downtown (Malecon boardwalk), then carries on to the South Side Bus Terminal (Zona Romantica)
• The Tunel bus bypasses downtown on its way to the South Side Bus Terminal 
• If you are going to Parque Lázaro Cárdenas, you can take either bus, but the Tunel is faster

To go further south:

• Buses to Mismaloya and Boca de Tomatlan (Yelapa water taxi point) depart from the South Side Bus Terminal (at Constitución and Basilio Badillo)
• Buses to El Tuito and other points south leave from Agucate & Carranza
