Several other St. John's taxi companies that serve the St. John's Airport include Co-op, Jiffy Cabs and Newfound Cabs. Although they do not have 'official status', you can call one to pick you up and save a few dollars as they will run the meter to town instead of the fixed rate plus a per passenger rate charged by the 'official' company.

There are still some "radical" drivers that are still ripping off passengers.
