Haunted Austin Evening Adventure

Haunted Austin Evening Adventure
2 hours
USD 49.00
At the historic Driskill Hotel, there is a portrait of a little girl holding some flowers on the third floor that causes a bit of a buzz — literally as well as figuratively. Folks say that when they look at it, they get a curious tingling sensation of their heels being lifted into the air. After that, their equilibrium is off for several hours. Witnesses at this hotel report hearing sounds of people upstairs when no one is there, and feeling something they can't see touching their face and arms. Also, apparitions have been seen sitting in chairs or at windows.

These are the type of stories you will learn about while enjoying a challenging digital GPS scavenger hunt game played on provided iPads. Your group will use an action pack to solve difficult riddles and puzzles. The game includes augmented reality that is fun for all ages. Very similar to a Room Escape Game where you have 120 minutes to solve all the challenges to save the world...hurry up, you can do it!

Austin Driving Stress Level: 2/10

Driving around Austin and the surrounding region is fairly easy going, though it can be tricky to park downtown (park only in legal spots).

Be aware that the on-ramps on the I-35, especially the lower deck, are very short.

Parts of the city are subject to flooding at times during the year. NEVER drive through flooded low water crossings. You will lose your car and possibly your life. As little as a few inches of running water can and does wash a car away and each year there are some deaths due to this. "Turn Around, Don't Drown."
