Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport (IATA: DWC, ICAO: OMDW), officially Al Maktoum International Airport at Dubai World Central, also referred to as Al Maktoum International Airport, Al Maktoum Airport, Jebel Ali International Airport, Jebel Ali Airport City, Dubai World Central International Airport, Dubai DWC International Airport, or Dubai World City Airport, is located in Jebel Ali, 45 kilometres (28 miles) south southwest of Dubai city centre, United Arab Emirates. The airport is named to honor the late Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the former ruler of Dubai.

Dubai Al Maktoum Airport opened for passenger flights on October 26, 2013, complementing the existing Dubai International Airport (DXB), helping to handle the influx of travellers well into the future.
