Norfolk Island Driving Stress Level: 1/10
There are about 170 kilometres of tar sealed roads on the island to explore. Driving is an easy, enjoyable experience on Norfolk. There is no such thing as traffic lights or road rage, and the local road rules are the same as in Australia and New Zealand. Cars drive on the same side of the road. Speed limits range from 25 - 50 kilometres per hour through out the island.

Take care when crossing the road - you should always use a "zebra crossing" to cross safely. Look out for cows, they have free run of the Island (except in the town centre) and they have right of way - it is an offence to hit a cow and you will be fined if you do.
