The closest airport to Patong Beach Airport is Phuket International Airport (HKT), which is 35 kilometres (28 miles) to the north of Patong. There are plenty of transfer options available. "Limousine" taxis from HKT airport to Patong Beach are a steep THB 600 (45 minutes); meter-taxis upwards of THB 400 (from the meter-taxi stand at the airport, ignore the touts and turn right as you exit the terminal); and shared minibuses are about THB 150-180.
