Where is St Catherine Airport?  

Saint Catherine is located in South Sinai, on the outskirts of the El Tur Mountains, 120 kilometres (75 miles) from Nuweiba, at the foot of Mount Sinai and Saint Catherine's Monastery.

St. Catherine International Airport (IATA: SKV, ICAO: HESC), also referred to as St. Katherine Airport, St. Katrine Airport, or simply St. Catherine Airport, is located 20 kilometres (12 miles) northeast of St. Catherine, South Sinai Governorate, Egypt.

If you have arrived by bus or taxi, you will quickly find yourself stranded if you have not made arrangements to be picked up. With no public bus transport or taxis, getting around St. Catherine is a matter of prearranging transfers or hitching rides. The latter is surprisingly easy - there are usually foreigners staying in town who are heading up to the monastery in their own cars.
