Calgary Driving Stress Level: 3/10

Driving around Calgary is pretty easy except, perhaps, in winter. A good highway system links the Calgary to surrounding areas, including the Trans Canada Highway, the Sarcee Trail SW and the Glenmore Trail SW. Fines for speeding and parking in restricted areas can cost you some of your travel money, so pay attention. Look for official parking areas around town, including metered parking along a number of streets, together with large parking lots. Expect in some cases to pay over CAD 12 dollars per hour in the large parking lots downtown.
