 Disabled Facilities at the Disneyland Park


Disneyland Park has comprehensive facilities to enable guests with mobility disabilities, hearing disabilities, visual disabilities and service animals to get as much out of the Park as they want to.


Access to most attractions, wheelchair rental and electric convenience vehicles are available for the mobility impaired. Assisted Listening systems, Reflective Captioning, Sign Language interpretation, Text Typewriter telephones, Handheld Captioning, Video Captioning and written aids are available for Guests with hearing disabilities. Visually impaired guests are able to access audio Description devices, Braille guidebooks and digital audio tours.


Trained service animals are welcome in most locations throughout the Disneyland Park. They must be on a leash or harness at all times and Cast Members are not permitted to handle service animals. Attractions at the Disneyland Resort are accessible to Guests with service animals via the standard queue.

Guests with sensitivity to light are advised to consult their doctor prior to visiting the Disneyland Park as there are countless light displays all of which are constantly changing in such a manner that it is not possible to list all of them. Some light displays include strobe lights and pulsating light effects and they are in all locations around the Disneyland Park.


Guests with disabilities are eligible to park in the first row in the Downtown Disney District North Lot near the Rainforest Café and in the first aisle in the Simba Lot, near Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel.
