A trick to save on parking at LAX Airport is to park (at far cheaper rates) at the Van Nuys Airport (VNY)    , then take the non-stop Van Nuys FlyAway Bus shuttle service to LAX. Parking in the FlyAway lot at VNY Airport is less expensive, and the shuttle fare is cheap.

The LAX Cell Phone Waiting Lot is located adjacent to the southwest corner of LAX Economy Parking Lot C, at the Northwest corner of 96th Street/Vicksburg Avenue. Motorists meeting arriving passengers can wait for free, up to two hours, until passengers call to say they are ready to be picked up in the Central Terminal Area. Vehicles must be attended at all times. No parking is allowed in or around the Cell Phone Waiting Lot.
