<p>Cross the Arctic Circle, a bucket list adventure for many, meet whales and puffins and visit Grimsey Island. A gem, populated by just 80 courageous farmers and fishermen. <br /><br />At the harbor in the heart of Akureyri you will board a large boat for a sail to Grimsey Island. On the sail, which lasts 2,5-hours, you will meet whales and cross the Arctic Circle and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Eyjafjordur. <br /><br />Once in Grímsey you will spend 1,5-hours walking on the island, mingling with the locals, watching puffins and enjoying seafood at the local community house before you head back to the lovely town of Akureyri.<br /><br />The Duration of the whole trip is aproximately 6.5-hours.</p>
