ASQ Austin Airport Info & Guide

Where is Austin Airport?

Austin, Nevada is 143 kilometres (89 miles) from Battle Mountain, the largest community in the Ladner County. Austin is a "living ghost town", a well-preserved example of an early Nevada mining town.

Nearby points of interest include a cluster of natural hot springs 24 kilometres (15 miles) east of Austin, and the Hickison Petroglyph Recreation Area, 39 kilometres (24 miles) east of Austin.

Austin Airport (IATA: ASQ, ICAO: KTMT, FAA LID: TMT, formerly 9U3) is a public-use airport located 7 kilometres (4 miles) southwest of the central business district of Austin, a city in Lander County, Nevada, United States. It is used for general aviation.

Located in Nevada, this "Austin Airport" should not be confused with Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) in Texas.
