Where is Belgrade Airport?  


Belgrade International Airport (IATA: BEG, ICAO: LYBE), officially Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, commonly referred to as simply Belgrade Airport, is located in the Surčin Municipality, 12 kilometres (7.5 miles) west of central Belgrade, Serbia.


The airport is named in honour of Serbian scientist and inventor Nikola Tesla.


In 2012, Belgrade Airport served 3,363,919 passengers. In February 2012, construction began on an expansion project.


Belgrade Airport is a hub for Aviogenex, Jat Airways and Wizz Air.
