Breathe in the fresh Atlantic air, listen to the waves crash on the rugged coastline and feel the sand between your toes – you must be in the Maritimes! You'll be sure to see plenty of seabirds such as herons, gannets and kingfishers and the (less adorable but very majestic) bald eagle. If that isn't enough seabirds/life for you then take a whale watching cruise to see humpbacks, minke and more, plus adorable seals!  Port of Halifax Cruise Ship Terminal Info & Guide

Where is Port of Halifax Cruise Ship Terminal?

The Halifax Cruise Ship Terminal is operated by the Port of Halifax, and is located at the Halifax Seaport complex in downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Cruise ships dock right at the Seaport, at the Cruise Ship Pavillion (officially, at piers 20-22).

The lively Halifax Seaport is packed with shops, restaurants, attractions and historical buildings, stretching from Piers 19-23. The confusedly-named Pier 21 is not a working pier, but a former ocean liner terminal that has been converted into Canada's National Museum of Immigration.

Tip: the entire downtown waterfront area in Halifax offers free WiFi.
