This 4-day private tour is not only a multi-day tour, but a chance to understand human evolution. The orangutan is the great ape in Asia who only lives in Sumatra and Borneo. Orang means people and Utan means hutan or forest “people in the forest”. It is not odd to call them people because we share 97% DNA with Orangutans. You will visit 3 Orangutan feeding stations. Please note, no touching no talking, only breathing allowed.
You can also see another exotic animal like Proboscis monkey, known as Bekantan the endemic primate in Borneo. Silvered Langur, Red-leaf Monkey or Pig-tailed Money are exotic primates difficult to see. You may see different kinds of birds, crocodiles in the river banks, plants and blossoms. If you have a time to do night trekking you may see the smallest primate in the world, the Tarsier which has big eyes. This is a wildlife experience like no other.

HLP East Jakarta Halim Airport Info & Guide

Where is East Jakarta Halim Airport?

Nicknamed "The Big Durian" (after the thorny foul-smelling fruit), Jakarta is Indonesia's equivalent of The Big Apple (New York City). The capital city is located on the northwest coast of Java, and is the country's economic, political and cultural centre.

East Jakarta Halim Airport (IATA: HLP, ICAO: WIHH), officially Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, also referred to as East Jakarta Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, East Jakarta Domestic Airport, or East Jakarta Airport, is located in East Jakarta, in Jakarta, Indonesia. Until recently, the airport was used strictly for military, private, government and presidential purposes.

While there was a plan in 2014 to move Jakarta's domestic traffic to East Jakarta Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, in an effort to relieve the overcapacity Jakarta Soekarno Hatta International Airport (CGK), the only airline to make the move was Citilink (Garuda Indonesia, Lion Air and Air Asia all cancelled their plans). Other airlines that fly to East Jakarta Halim Airport include Susi Air.

Cities with flights to East Jakarta Halim Airport include Bandung, Balikpapan, Cilacap, Dumai, Malang, Palembang, Pangandaran, Semarang, Solo, Surabaya and Yogyakarta.

Your best bet for a East Jakarta Halim Airport transfer is a taxi. Details on all options are included in this guide (new Jakarta airport train coming in 2016/2017).
