Some people travel to Foz do Iguaçu (in Brazil) but stay in Puerto Iguazu (Argentina). The cost of going by taxi from IGR Cataratas del Iguazú Airport to Foz do Iguaçu is around ARS 175-220. You can ask for a taxi inside the airport and pay cash or on credit card. Taxi drivers know the immigration regulations so they will walk you by the customs to enter Argentina. By taxi the drive is no more than half an hour, but be advised that sometimes they may be lots of people on the immigration point and at peak hour you can expect 45 minutes or an hour waiting lines.

Tip: Taxi to Sheraton Iguazu

If you arrive at the IGR Cataratas del Iguazú Airport and are staying at the Sheraton Iguazu (on the Argentinian side, in the park), it is recommended to rent a car at the airport instead (make reservations in advance), so that you can travel from the hotel to the nearby town (which you will want to do if you want to eat there and do some sightseeing) and also to give you the flexibility to go to the Brazilian side of the falls. Otherwise, you can take a one way taxi to the Sheraton (does not include ARS 60/person entry fee for the park), the another back to the IGR Cataratas del Iguazú Airport when you leave.
