Renting a car at McCarran Airport is straightforward and without doubt is the easiest way to travel around Las Vegas. The Strip is the city's main artery and is a wide and straight boulevard. It is lined by enormous hotel casino complexes and shopping malls, most of which offer large parking areas. Further car parks can be found along Civic Centre Drive, Paradise Road and East Harmon Avenue.

If you are planning to go outside of the city, such as to Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon, it is highly recommended you choose a Las Vegas Airport car hire. Remember that picking up / dropping off LAS rental cars at the offsite rental centre takes time; if you plan to stay around the Strip, you may be better off using another Las Vegas airport transfer method.



 LAS Las Vegas Airport Car Rental Shuttle

A fleet of 50 environmentally friendly G-Diesel powered buses transport passengers between the Las Vegas Airport and the McCarran Rent-A-Car Centre, located three miles from the LAS Airport. The shuttle buses are blue and white and run every 5 minutes to get you to/from LAS rental cars. All buses are are ADA equipped. To catch the LAS car rental bus:


  • Terminal 1; From Baggage Claim, follow signs to Ground Transportation on Level 1. Proceed to the LAS car rental shuttle located at the center median outside doors 10 and 11.
  • Terminal 3; Follow signs to Ground Transportation from Baggage Claim on Level Zero. Proceed to the LAS car rental shuttle located outside West doors 1-4 and East doors 5-8.
