Go on a Self-Directed Walking Tour

Mobile's historic downtown is easily explored by foot. Sights include the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Scottish Rite Temple, Bienville Square (enjoy the shade trees) and Mobile River shipspotting from Cooper Riverside Park. Finish by grabbing a bite to eat on Dauphin Street.

Explore the Swamp

The Mobile-Tensaw River Delta is the largest river delta and wetland in Alabama. The huge ecosystem is home to numerous rare and endangered plants and animals. The area's scenery and unique attributes making it popular for canoeing, kayaking, bird watching, fishing and nature study (when the delta isn't flooded, of course).
