Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) Train & Subway Services

Malpensa Express (Ferrovie Nord Milano Trains) connects the centre of Milan and MXP Milan Malpensa Airport (Terminal 1, underground floor) with departures from 04:30 to 00:30. Each train is has ample luggage storage onboard, has low floors for easy access and announcements in both Italian and English.

The Milan Cadorna service operates on a regular basis between Terminal 1 and Piazza Cordona Station (in the heart of the city, near monuments and artistic sites). Travel time is 30-36 minutes, with some trains making intermediate stops at Milano Bovisa, Saronno, Busto Arsizio.

The Milan Central service operates every 30 minutes between Terminal 1 and Milano Centrale Station. Travel time is about 45 minutes, with some trains making intermediate stops at  Milano P.ta Garibaldi superficie, Milano bovisa, Saronno, Rescaldina , Castellanza, Busto Arsizio, Ferno - Lonate Pozzolo.

Two Freccia Rossa trains daily from Milan Central Station to Terminal 1 coming from Florence and Naples, returning in the evening.

A local shuttle bus connects the MXP Milan Malpensa Airport with Gallarate Rail Station every hour, providing connections with Trenitalia (Italy's national train network). To Milan Central trains depart Gallarate from 05:54 until 23:24. To Milan Garibaldi trains depart Gallarate from 05:30 until 23:00.
