Where is Aktion Airport?
Aktion National Airport (IATA: PVK, ICAO: LGPZ) is an airport serving Preveza and Lefkada in Greece. It is also known as Lefkada Airport. The airport is also used by NATO and Hellenic Air Force Command.

Flights from the UK fly from Manchester and Gatwick directly to PVK Aktion Airport. PVK Aktion Airport opearates a full schedule from May to October. Out of season it is possible to fly to Athens and catch an internal flight to Preveza. Flights to Corfu are readily available throughout the season. From Corfu you can catch the ferry to Igoumentisa (1.5 hours) and a coach/taxi to Preveza (1 hour).

The town of Preveza is just 4 kilometres from the PVK Aktion Airport, approximately 20 kilometres from Lefkas and 13 kilometres from Vonitsa.

Preveza is linked by road to Igoumenitsa and other coastal settlements through the E55 national road, and is also linked with other cities in Epirus such as Ioannina and Arta. The Aktio-Preveza Undersea Tunnel links Preveza by road to Aetolia-Acarnania in Central Greece. Preveza also has a small commercial and passenger port and is served by the nearby PVK Aktion Airport, which also serves the island of Lefkada.
