Unless you are going to another destination on the railway line, the 727 bus is the best choice.

There is no Aberdeen Airport train service on-site.

Dyce (where the Aberdeen Airport is located) does have a train station, but it is the opposite side of the runway from the terminal and inconvenient to get to. There is bus service to the station, though it is somewhat limited.

Aberdeen Airport is linked to the nearby Dyce Railway Station by two bus services:

  • JET Connect 80 provides service Monday - Friday only
  • 80 Dyce Airlink provides Saturday service only
  • For details, see the Bus section
  • Or a taxi will cost GBP 6-7 for the 10 minute ride

First ScotRail, which operates the Dyce Railway Station train service, offers almost half-hourly service to and from Aberdeen city during the day.

There are also trains from the south that include a stop at Dyce, giving the station direct links to Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow (and intermediate stations), as well as northern stations on the Inverness line.
