Bali Denpasar Airport Private Bus Recommendations

IHateTaxis.com recommends the Bali Denpasar Airport private bus.

We recommend Bemos as a fun transportation around Bali and they should definitely be considered for chartering during your stay. The IHateTaxis.com staff have done many trips in bemos since they are fun!

An alternative to the public bus is a 'Bemo', which is essentially a mini-bus with seating for up to 10 passengers. Bemos are very common in Bali and although they are open-air, they are a fun way to get around and also to meet the locals. Bemos cannot be hired inside the Bali Denpasar Airport, so head out to the right through the parking area to the airport gate where they wait.

There is a colour-coding scheme for Bemos and their routes, but best to ask and someone will point you in the right direction. Fares are negotiated per person, but they will definitely be cheaper than a taxi. If you are in a large group and have luggage, it might just be easier to charter a Bemo at the DPS Bali Denpasar International Airport entrance (chartered Bemos have yellow licence plates) as taxis may only carry 3 passengers.
