Lubeck Blankensee Airport (LBC) Train & Subway Services

The Lübeck Airport train station stop is about 300 metres from the terminal building, a fairly easy walk. There is a lift to the platform, so no stairs to climb!  

Local train service between the Lübeck Airport station and the Central Train Station runs every hour and takes about 10 minutes. 

Regional trains run every hour between Kiel and Lüneburg, stopping at Lübeck Flughafen (Lübeck Airport) and Lübeck Hauptbahnhof (Central Main Station), from which you can make all manner oconnections.

On working days, additional service is available:

• Commuter trains to and from Hamburg depart every 30 minutes (versus 60 minutes on weekends/holidays)
• InterCity trains via Hamburg leave/arrive every 2 hours - a few trains continue to Berlin, München, Cologne or Frankfurt
• Local trains to Lüneburg, Kiel, Schwerin and the beach resorts Travemünde (where ferries depart from) and Timmendorfer Strand depart on an hourly basis
• Other regular trains for Copenhagen, Szczecin and the Island of Fehmarn leave every 2 hours
