If you do not have much luggage and have extra time, then this is your most inexpensive option for transportation from Logan Airport.


Boston Logan Airport Subway Rates & Fares

The fare for a single ride is USD 2, Day Link Pass is USD 9, and Week Link Pass is USD 15. The subway is slowly being converted to a farecard system, but tokens are still in use. Machines selling farecards are available in the Arrivals areas of each terminal.

There are free Massport shuttle buses that run every 5-10 minutes from all terminals (Route Nos. 22, 33 or 55 "MBTA Blue Line") to take you to the Boston Logan Airport Subway Station on the Blue Line. These buses have room for luggage.

 

To get downtown, board the Blue Line train headed for Boston South Station. Trains run every 8-12 minutes, between 06:30 and 12:30.

 

Silver Line service inbound to South Station is FREE - including a FREE transfer to the Red Line

 

At Boston South Station you can connect with Amtrak, which operates trains to several nearby cites and many destinations througout the USA.
